• Maximum file upload quantity: depending on the mixing package you choose (allowed audio tracks)
• Note: rough mixes & reference tracks do not count in that regard; you can always upload one rough mix and one reference track “on top.”

• Make sure to name each file meaningfully
• Please include the type of audio content in the file name
• Make sure each file is distinguishable by name & song (in case you upload files for multiple different songs)
• Feel free to add desired mixing hints in the filename, e.g., panning hints “left, center, right (LCR).”

• Before bouncing your track(s), set all faders to zero
• Bypass any processing & effects (only keep processing & effects (e.g., like distortions) that are an integral part of the sound)
• Turn off any limiting before bouncing your track(s)
• All files should be of the same duration & length
• All files should start from 00:00:00 in your DAW (even if it is a blank space)

• Provide the highest quality versions of your stereo mixes (.WAV / .AIFF)

• Leave enough headroom in your mixes (peaking at no more than -3dB)
• Make sure your mix is not too loud! (-18  to -14 LUFS recommended)

• We apply processed, multi-layered, high-end reverbs and effects on your track
• Remember: If you upload tracks with reverb and effects, any processing, like EQ, gating, and compression, will inevitably be applied to these effects as well, which can lead to unwanted tonal balance and artifacts. You can avoid this by uploading “dry” tracks
• Only keep effects that are an integral part of your track

• Make sure to avoid digital clipping/distortion of your tracks
• Make sure to avoid excessive amounts of  “clicks & pops” in your tracks
• Avoid unwanted background noise / excessive microphone “bleeding,” or excessive amount of reverberation in your recordings
• Make sure all your audio files can be opened & aren’t corrupt
